TAPCON is one of the premier academic conferences in Tamil Nadu in the field of Pathology. We at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore have the privilege of hosting TAPCON 2024. On behalf of Tamil Nadu Pondicherry Chapter of IAPM.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to TNPC-IAPM for having given us the opportunity to conduct this prestigious annual state conference at Coimbatore.
The conference provides a varied and rich feast of scientific knowledge. The sessions are well designed to cater to the need of the hour topics and touch upon the various technical advancements that are transforming the field of pathology. Quality plays a major role in health care and quality in lab medicine plays a pivotal role. A session addressing quality gives the finishing touch to this academic feast.
The conference is preceded by 5 pre-conference workshops with hands-on experience in the technical aspects of ancillary testing in diagnostic pathology.
The events include sessions like posters and oral presentations to encourage budding pathologists. To kindle their passion in pathology we also have a quiz for post-graduates. The scientific committee has taken all possible efforts to adhere to the guidelines of TAPCON.
I wish to express my sincere thanks to my ever-enthusiastic team of scientific and organizing committee members for their support in this mammoth endeavour of conducting a state conference.
